SONAFLEKI
A downloadable game for Windows
What is SONAFLEKI?
><><> SONAFLEKI plays like "Flicky" (the Genesis game). Your player is slippery and bounces off of walls; it may take time to adjust to this new body, but only the truly skilled can have complete control.
><><> Explore a massive overworld (reminiscent of "Knytt Underground"); play linear levels, collect new double jump types, and get lost.
><><> Challenge linear levels, each with their own distinct visual style, gimmicks, and music. These are the best levels I have ever put to code; they took up one and a half years of the development time so I could make them so good!
><><> Play only what you want; you can experience an ending of the game by only playing easy levels and completing easy tasks. For the challengers, extra difficult content is provided.
Features...
><><> 21 playable levels, two endings
><><> 5 different double jump types
><><> A massive dreamtime overworld, full of intrigue and mystery
><><> Relaxing atmospheric visuals, graphics, and sounds, inspired by nature, industrialization, dreams, etc...
><><> ~10hrs of runtime
Downloading and running the game...
><><> SONAFLEKI is provided as both a stand-alone .exe file and a zip file. Either:
><><> Download the .exe file and run it, or
><><> Download the .zip file, unzip it in its own folder, and then locate the .exe file inside that folder.
><><> If your computer flags the standalone .exe as a virus, try downloading the .zip instead

Very good game! You Received: Gratitude
Gratitude accepted! Thanks!
phenomenal
i think its been years since ive found myself lost in a game like i did with this
exploration is amazing, every single area feels handcrafted with love and the game has one of the best soundtracks ive ever listened to
platforming is seamless and really intuitive - had some hiccups because i suck at games but i found myself improving and locking in every single level
all the jump types (no spoilers) are insanely fun to use, especially the HJ+F.
even the opening made me tear up. the ending i got made me cry. every single part of this game is just amazing. i don't think theres another experience like it.
10/10.
please play!!!!
this is my game of the year
Thank you so much!
this game is awesome
Thank you so much for your kind words! The full version is almost done! Expect it to release in a month or so. Thanks for playing!
Oh my god this is sooo sick i love everything about this to shreds, gameplay, graphics, how they change how they interact and how you play them this fits my taste like a glove, absolutely looking forward to anything this may become. I'll think about titles for a bit i'll let you know if i come up w anything
Hey, thanks so much for playing! I am happy to report the game is progressing well. I'm aiming for ~20 non-tutorial levels and I'm about 13-14 levels deep. Looking like a Q2 or Q3 2026 release if nothing goes wrong. Thank you again for playing and leaving this comment!
I like this game artstyle and presentation. It reminds me of those artistic-looking game.
Even if I’m not good at precise platformer. I can sense something good out of this, more so if the bounciness when you hit the walls gets slightly tweaked in order to not be this bouncy.
Hey, thanks for playing! I've implemented a walking button that allows you to walk slow and not bounce when you're walking on the ground. I wanted to keep the player physics as close to Flicky (Genesis) as possible and that means wall bouncing. Thanks again for playing!
That’s why that movement felt so familiar, moreso if I always sucked at playing Flicky.
