[untitled experimental platformer by kg] [demo]
A downloadable demo for Windows
About this demo...
><><> I've been working on this game for about a year now, and I am happy to finally share a demo with you all.
><><> The game will take place in a large open world. You'll be tasked with exploring and collecting a little less than half of the main collectables ("Gratitude") in the game.
><><> One of the ways to gain Gratitude is to locate and play one of the levels. This demo contains a snapshot of some of these levels. I hope you enjoy it!
><><> If you have any feedback from this demo, I would be happy to hear it! Either leave a comment, or send me a message on Twitter or Discord (6527kg).
><><> As of right now, the game has no name. If you have any ideas for the name of the game, feel free to send it my way!
In this demo...
><><> 7 playable levels
><><> 5 different double jump types
><><> Diverse art style
><><> A relaxing and peaceful hub world
><><> 30+ minutes of gameplay

I like this game artstyle and presentation. It reminds me of those artistic-looking game.
Even if I’m not good at precise platformer. I can sense something good out of this, more so if the bounciness when you hit the walls gets slightly tweaked in order to not be this bouncy.
Hey, thanks for playing! I've implemented a walking button that allows you to walk slow and not bounce when you're walking on the ground. I wanted to keep the player physics as close to Flicky (Genesis) as possible and that means wall bouncing. Thanks again for playing!
